I am Vix, an indian-filipina living and working in Bacolod City, Philippines. I graduated university with a degree in Management Information Systems and work as a technical writer and trainor with some systems analysis thrown in.
I was born in Malaysia where I spent most of my childhood. That was a fun time: books, television, secret clubs, bike adventures (with the exception of that pesky thing called school, life would have been idyllic).
I studied in Singapore as well as England - did my O-Levels and A-Levels (English Language, Psychology and Economics) before coming to the Philippines where my Mum is from. Life here is sometimes difficult but it’s a simple life, a quieter life and I have a great bunch of friends and a fantastic job.
Personality-wise, I am quiet (until I get to know you better), sometimes cynical, and a closet romantic. I love chocolate, David, and my crazy friends.
I’ve been on the intarweb for 8 years now - I’ve blogged on a lot of systems from scribbles.nu to OpenDiary and Livejournal. As for self-hosted scripts I started using Greymatter and then MovableType and now Wordpress.
I also enjoy webdesign, reading and puttering around the intarweb while pursuing my fandoms.
